Following a shimmering start with the Polonaise and Waltz from Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, TSO Principal Clarinet, Andrew Seymour, returns to the spotlight to perform a new international co-commission by globally renowned composer Sally Beamish.

The second half of this concert features Shostakovich’s Symphony No 10. Said to be a musical portrait of Stalin following his death, it is a monumental work, full of contrast, intensity, and emotional depth.

Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Eivind Aadland is at the helm.

This concert is part of our Federation Concert Hall Series.
